Ganiza 6 Quart Air Fryer Review – Convenient Tabletop Cooking

Comments – We got an air fryer as a gift a few years ago and we didn’t even take it out of the box for months because we didn’t think we’d be using it that much. When we finally opened it up to try it, the air fryer became our device of choice. Daily use takes a toll on the pan and admittedly we didn’t take care to protect the Teflon coating so it is worn down to the point where the pan will rust if there is water in it so I took the opportunity to review the Ganiza air fryer at 6 liters. Let’s see if the Ganiza Airfryer can take over the cooking.
The Ganiza Air Fryer is a small oil-free oven with a viewing window and a 13 function touch interface. It uses hot air convection to cook food quickly without the use of oil.
The Ganiza air fryer follows the typical square fryer shape. It’s not as big as the air fryer we used to love because it can now fit on a kitchen counter under a cupboard with plenty of room. I’m most excited about the window because when making fries or tofu, we often have to pull out the basket to check it out, so it’s a great feature.
Ganiza Air Fryer has 11 preset functions for steak, chicken, seafood, shrimp, bacon, frozen food, french fries, vegetables, root vegetables, bread and jerky, displayed as small icons. You also have two auxiliary cooking functions: Preheat and Keep warm. The temperature can be adjusted from 150 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit in 10 degree increments, and the time can be set from 1 to 60 minutes in 1 minute increments. During cooking, the shake signal will sound to let you know when to shake the basket and the light will come on so you can see the cooking progress through the window.
I made some french fries and they were so crispy and perfect. I also tried frozen dumplings to see what would happen, the dumplings were fully fried and were very crispy and cooking this way was much less of a hassle than cooking them in a skillet.
I use a Ganiza fryer with a tray not only to see if there is a difference, the tray allows for better airflow under the food and produces crispier fries in less time because there is not really contact with the pan to fry the food. but air contact, so the more air the better.
I added some broccoli, asparagus, baby tomatoes and garlic, added some olive oil, some salt and pepper and cooked everything on a vegetable grill, the broccoli was very crunchy, the rest was just normal crunchy. Obviously, the more water in the vegetables, the longer it will take for them to get crispy, so if you want them all to be cooked on the same level, be careful to cook similar foods together.
With room for four chicken thighs, using the chicken preset, they finished the job in 24 minutes. I added some olive oil and rubbed each thigh and it came out perfect.
The Ganiza 6-Qt fryer is very easy to use and clean. We’ve been using it daily for a few weeks and it worked great with tofu, chicken nuggets, broccoli, chips, chicken, and everything else we tried. Windowing is a great feature and now I can’t live without it. If you’re looking for an air fryer, the Ganiza 6 liter air fryer will get two Gadgeteer thumbs up.
