Lawsuits over pressure cookers continue in the US

MIAMI, Sept. 12, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Numerous pressure cooker lawsuits continue to be filed in the United States on behalf of customers who allegedly suffered burns from faulty pressure cookers. Pressure cooker attorneys at Jason Turchin LLP have filed over 100 pressure cooker-related injury claims against many large pressure cooker companies.
“Unfortunately, some pressure cookers are known to be broken but are still on the market,” said Jason Turchin, national pressure cooker attorney. “Many people won’t have any problems with utensils, but some appliances may have safety flaws that can lead to catastrophic, disfiguring scars that can be permanent.”
Turchin has filed pressure cooker lawsuits against a number of major brands, including Crock-Pot Multicooker’s Sunbeam, Power Pressure Cooker XL and Emeril Lagasse branded Tristar Products, Gourmia, SharkNinja, Instant Pot, Bella, Bena Casa, Maxi-Matic and a lot others.
Turchin suggests that there are a number of safety features that can fail or flaws that can be seen in various models of pressure cookers, including:
Turchin believes the company can do more to prevent harm to customers. “One injury should be too many,” Turchin said. Turchin’s company found numerous errors, mislabeling of parts, and substitution of parts without informing the public in the instruction manual, although the pressure cooker is still sold as the same model.
If you have been injured by a pressure cooker, you may be entitled to compensation. Pressure cooker lawsuits typically seek damages, including compensation for medical expenses, future medical care, and pain and suffering.
Turchin continues to represent victims of pressure cooker burns, hoping the company will correct the alleged flaw to prevent further injuries. “We want to make sure these products are safe,” Turchin added. As product liability attorneys, Turchin’s firm represents people in the United States who have been affected by defective products.
