Man beaten and robbed with frying pan after escaping after being tied up

stone. JOSEPH COUNTY, Indiana. According to court records, the woman was charged with tying up, vomiting and beating her with a familiar frying pan as she walked home to ensure her safety.
Mishawaka police were sent to the 500th block on 4th Street on September 7 when locals found the 61-year-old man naked, severely beaten and with a ball cork. The report says the man had two black eyes, ties around his wrists and ankles, and blood on his face.
He was taken to the hospital, where doctors found the victim with a broken arm and multiple fractures of the ribs.
The victim reportedly told police around 2 am that he had received messages from Mariah Conn-Wilhelm who were very upset and worried for her safety and the safety of her 5-month-old baby.
When he entered her apartment, Conn-William reportedly became angry and hit the victim with a frying pan.
Conn-Wilhelm called his friend over. A friend reportedly helped Conn-Williams tie up the victim and put a ball stopper in his mouth.
He told the police that the beatings continued for several hours when he was tied up. Hours later, Conn-William and her friend held guns to the victim’s head and told him to call, the report said.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, the victim was forced to call a man named Austin who was interested in buying property owned by the victim, and once Austin agreed to buy the property, he wrote Cohn-William a check for $17,000.
The next day, with the victim still tied up, Cohn-William reportedly arranged a time to pick up the check from Austin.
When Kang-William left the apartment with the children, the victim reportedly fled the apartment in search of help.
The report said that during a search of Conn-Wilhelm’s home, police found dry red stains on the bathroom floor, kitchen floor, a baby swing in the kitchen, and a baby backpack and a toy in the living room.
Police said they found a pair of black handcuffs, a blue rope and a chain in the living room and kitchen.
Police said they found a small bag in the suspect’s closet containing a substance that tested positive for methamphetamine.
The police did not find a cot in the house. The bags and games were in the living room, next to the ropes and chains, where the victim was tied up and beaten, according to the sworn statement.
Conn-Wilhelm spoke to the Mishawaka police about this. According to an affidavit of probable cause, she allegedly pleaded guilty to beating the victim with a broom and a frying pan, tying him up in her apartment, putting a gun to his head, and forcing Austin to write checks in her name.
Conn-Wilhelm is charged with felony imprisonment with grievous bodily harm, armed robbery, robbery with grievous bodily harm, battery with grievous bodily harm, intimidation, neglect of dependents, and possession of methamphetamine.
