If there is any piece of equipment we can guarantee you’ve heard of recently, it’s an air fryer. But it’s time for a great alternative – halogen ovens.
Recently, air fryers have gained popularity due to the fact that they use less energy than traditional ovens, while at the same time offering a healthy way to cook food. But as demand outstrips supply and many items sell for higher prices, we are always on the lookout for the best option.
Halogen ovens are powered by halogen lamps in the lid, producing infrared heat that is circulated through the glass bowl by a fan. Like deep fryers, halogen stoves help save energy in your home and cut your energy bills. Plus, they cook well-cooked meals faster than conventional ovens and don’t require a lot of unhealthy oil.
A recent study by Utilita (opens in a new tab) found that the average annual operating cost of a deep fryer is £55.91 compared to £121.06 for a gas stove and £335.57 for an electric stove. What about halogen ovens? They run about 75% cheaper than standard electric ovens.
This 15 liter Argos model has 10 heat settings and 3 cooking functions so you can grill, roast and bake at temperatures up to 250°C.
The £56 Argos may look too good to be true, but we’ve read the reviews and are confident it will be a hit.
A client from Tunbridge Wells said: “Well done, the digital control is very useful and very easy to use.” Correctly.”
Another satisfied customer was delighted with the halogen stove. “There have been several halogen stoves in the past and this one is the best,” said a client from Liverpool. “Works great and saves a lot of fuel because you only need to heat a small area instead of a big stove. You don’t have to spend hundreds of dollars on an air fryer when you can get one. Best buy ever.
There are plenty of halogen stoves on Amazon, but for less than £50, it’s worth trying 4.5 stars. It has a volume of 17 liters and an adjustable temperature, making it ideal for cooking, grilling, roasting and roasting.
There is no shortage of praise for Amazon alternatives as well. “This is my favorite and most used item in my kitchen,” one review states.
“I looked at other more expensive cookware from a well known brand and bought this one on a whim. So glad I did,” said another shopper. “Until now, I have used it every day and have successfully cooked meat and fish. What’s more, it heats up quickly and has no cooking smell, since my house is open and easy to clean. I am very happy .
