Newair recalls Magic Chef fryers due to fire and burn hazards

The recall concerns Magic Chef Air Fryer Digital Air Fryer ovens, model numbers MCAF56DB (black) and MCAF56DW (white). Magic Chef is printed on the top of the fryer, and a label on the bottom shows the Magic Chef brand name and model number. Fryer measures approximately 13 x 15 x 14 inches.
Consumers should stop using the recalled fryer immediately and provide the company with a picture of the passport label for instructions on how to unplug the fryer and receive a refund in the form of newair.com credit. The credit amount will be $50 or the amount shown on the purchase receipt (if higher). Get a $50 credit without a receipt. Consumers can also register for recall at https://www.newair.com/pages/recall-registration.
The gas regulators of the recalled ovens could have blown the seals, causing the gas to leak, creating a fire hazard.
Paint may chip off at the bottom of recalled kettles, which could result in a fire. In addition, the handle may break and/or the nozzle may leak, resulting in burns.
Recalled espresso machines with stainless steel safety valves may explode and eject hot contents, resulting in burns or other injury to consumers.
